Straight Line Ministries

Straight Life Tabernacle Church began on November 9, 1992 (with God's guidance), in the home of Pastor & Deacon Louise & Willie Watts. There were four members joining Pastor & Deacon Watts and they were; Minister James Watts, his wife Brenda Watts, Willie Mae Montgomery and Peggy Perry.

On November 3, 1993 God blessed us with the building at 2924 Warren Road in Decatur, Georgia. Each member donated their time and money, and renovations to the facility began shortly after the purchase. The renovation consisted of installing new carpet throughout the facility, elevating the pulpit area, painting the inside and any other repairs needed.

As the Ministry grew, Pastor Louise ask the Church to call Minister James B. Watts Pastor and to refer to her as Mother Watts. This was the passing of the torch and with God's anointing, it was a smooth transition.

On September 15, 2002 Pastor James B. Watts was officially ordained as Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Straight Life Tabernacle Church of God in Christ.
